Boeing Launches Stem Kindergarten in Israel'S Negev to Boost Science Education

Kids in southern Israel now have a place to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) thanks to a partnership between the Boeing Company and the town of Yeruham, the Times of Israel reports.

A new kindergarten in the townwhich Boeing says is the first of its kind in Israelteaches students about math, science, and technology and lets them experience the world through the windows of a Boeing passenger plane.

"This creative approach not only stimulates the imagination of the young learners but also provides a tangible connection to the aerospace industry, highlighting the possibilities that lie ahead in the fields of science and technology," Boeing says in a press release.

"Through this program, children will have the unique opportunity to interact with scientists and academics, immersing themselves in a learning environment that promotes exploration and critical thinking," the release continues.

"The curriculum is designed to inspire students by introducing them to a wide range of scientific fields, encouraging them to pursue further education and careers in STEM disciplines."
